IMAS gives all students full course materials for all our subjects including Script, videos, pictures and certificate of workshop.

Marey has been in the massage and spa therapy industry for nearly 35 years.

He is registered with the Empirical Medicine Switzerland, member of Medgate Partner Network (MGP), the Swiss Federation for Adults Learning (FSEA) and is the founder and director of Sugar & Spice Spa and the International Massage Academy of Switzerland (IMAS) and the president of the world massage council.

He has been trained in a wide variety of body therapies ranging from Spa style massage therapies to Eastern Thai and Osteopathic Manual Techniques in Switzerland, the UK and USA.

Marey is a trained teacher and is well known in the international circuit for training massage and body therapies having lectured in over 79 cities in switzerland and abroad, and is actively engaged as a Judge for many national and international massage competitions for the last 7 years and he has been awarded numerous awards for his activities in the industry.

Marey’s latest project has been to create an online training platform “Marey El Hamouly – Massage Masterclasses” where he aims to share his vast knowledge with a wider world audience.

Manager IMAS Fribourg

Ismail Makki is a highly qualified massage therapist in the field of massage therapy and alternative medicine at the Swiss Academy IMAS in Fribourg, holding a recognized diploma in the field.

Ismail Makki is an ASCA and RME accredited massage therapist in the field of massage therapy and alternative medicine at the IMAS Swiss Academy in Fribourg, Switzerland. Ismail excels as an experienced trainer at IMAS, organizing and delivering comprehensive and ongoing training courses in theory and practice in the field of massage therapy.

I've been a registered nurse since 2009 and have worked at the Chuv de Lausanne since 2007 in internal medicine. I've been doing lymphatic turning since 2009, reflex therapy since 2012, massage since 2014 and aromatherapy since 2009. I have my CAS de Praticien Formatrice since 2019.

Jessie BREARD (speaks French)

I've been a masseuse for 9 years. I set up my practice as part of a multidisciplinary team (osteopaths, physiotherapists, masseurs, sophrologist...). I specialize in neuromuscular therapy and convalescence. I use a variety of methods and tools: deep-tissue, thai massage, cupping, singing bowls, Chie Nei tsang, emotional...
I began my career as manager of three Thai spas in France. I then learned a lot and sometimes worked abroad ( Benin, Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, Switzerland...), I have a rich background, between the cultural aspect of massage and technique. Since 2018, I've been working and training alongside healthcare professionals. Most recently, I joined a DU in pain medicine at the Rouen Medical School. My passion is people. Massage is a vocation, and passing on and sharing it during my training courses is a matter of course.

I'm a masseuse with over 14 years' experience working in some of Geneva's top spas.
I studied the fields of health and well-being at several professional schools in Switzerland. At the same time, I also obtained a Power Yoga diploma, which enabled her to develop a side business as a yoga teacher.
